Co-Chair and Co-Creator of the Screen Students program, Tracey Wise is currently the Director of Career Development for The Los Angeles Film School and The Los Angeles Recording School, where she serves as the school’s main liaison to the entertainment industry, bringing guest speakers and employers to campus, helping graduates secure jobs and internships, overseeing a team of student career advisors, and creating/teaching a career skills curriculum for students. During her 15-year career in entertainment, she has held Development Executive positions at the Walt Disney Studios, at Disney Telefilms/The Wonderful World of Disney, Fountain Productions, and Disneytoon Studios. Previously, she worked for 20th Century Fox TV, Fox Family Films (now Fox Animation Studios), The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, and Director/Producer Debbie Allen, and produced large-scale, live events for The Learning Annex with celebrities such as: Donald Trump, Clive Davis, Robert Evans, Mark Burnett, Joe Montana, Garry Marshall, Kathy Griffin, James Burrows, Henry Winkler, Larry Gelbart and Wayne Brady. She holds a B.A. in Literature (Phi Beta Kappa) from Brandeis University and an M.A. in Critical Studies from UCLA’s School of Theatre, Film and Television. She is a voting member of the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. |
